Corrections, disputes and removals

Swan Valley Winery Guide is an independent directory of wineries in Swan Valley, built from publicly available business information and public Google reviews. Every winery receives a score calculated by the same published rubric applied to all listings equally. Being listed here is free. No payment can change your score or position in the directory. This page explains how corrections, disputes, and removals work. The full rubric is published under how we score.

Fixing factual details

Your listing's core facts (business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services offered) can be corrected when you provide the right information and proof we can check it against, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Once we apply a correction, it stays in place through future data updates.

Challenging your score

Scores are never hand-edited. A dispute means you believe the input data itself is wrong: the listing is matched to the wrong business, reviews are attributed to you incorrectly, or a review summary misrepresents what reviewers actually wrote. A dispute is not a request for a higher number. When we receive a dispute, we re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. The score you receive is what the data shows.

Removing a listing

Listings are removed when a business is permanently closed, a duplicate entry exists, or the business falls outside the directory's scope. Our monthly re-verification cycle also detects and removes closed businesses automatically. An accurate, in-scope listing will not be removed on request, and we will tell you plainly why we are keeping it.

How fast we respond

Every request is acknowledged within 5 business days. Removals that are confirmed are actioned within 7 days. Requests we decline come with a clear reason why.
